Suzanne Zilber, Ph.D. completed her bachelor’s degree in
psychology at Duke University, and completed her doctorate in
Counseling Psychology at the Ohio State University.

Licensed in Iowa since 1991, she has provided counseling for
Iowa State students and consultation to faculty and staff for
over 13 years. Her work is grounded in a sophisticated awareness of
multicultural and gender issues. She has developed special
expertise for helping clients address traumatic experiences,
eating disorders, sexual orientation, multicultural issues, and
career concerns.

Dr. Zilber has completed a post-doctoral certificate in
Beck’s Cognitive Therapy and is trained and experienced in the
trauma treatment EMDR* (Eye Movement Desensitization &
Reprocessing). She is adept at using a variety of therapy
methods to suit her clients’ individual needs.

Dr. Zilber is a member of the American Psychological Association, the
Iowa Psychological Association, and EMDRIA.
